The Help Group’s Summer Camps Have Gone Virtual!
In this upside down world, The Help Group’s summer camps will be virtual starting June 15th! During these online summer camps, 6-18 year olds with ASD & other special needs will be provided a safe and enriching atmosphere to engage, experience & explore. Each camper is matched to ensure an appropriate peer group. Campers will participate in a wide range of fun activities, such as social skills, fun & fitness, games, science experiments, arts & crafts, and so much more! Siblings are welcome.

The Covid NineTeen project
Provides free teen-led activities and one-on-one tutoring meant to support elementary school students. The teen mentors help keep children motivated and take stress off of parents. They are a group of motivated teens who are using this valuable time to make a difference in the world. They hope to serve as mentors for elementary school children to help them fill their time and continue to flourish despite the uncertainty of the outside world.

A Noise Within Takes “Summer With Shakespeare” Program Online
June 15th-July 17th
A Noise Within has transformed their sold-out Summer with Shakespeare into an immersive online program to enjoy from your own home! They will have swords, acting, improv, set and costume design. Designed to challenge and engage young artists, this program enhances acting and public speaking skills, builds self-confidence, and offers invaluable experience in the crafts of the theatre. Artists Teaching Artists Led By UC Berkeley Students

Clio Smithis a HTLA graduate and current UC Berkeley student, who manages Artist teaching Artists as an arts educational program for college students to teach younger students art. She and her team are offering virtual classes over zoom this summer. Over this 10 week course, your child will be exposed to art movements, styles, and practices.
