Naughty Rhubarb Scones. Not for the faint of calorie, but a worth-while flavor/texture treat. Macerate 1/4″ slices of fresh/frozen rhubarb with vanilla sugar (sugar that’s lived in the same glass container with the pod of a scraped vanilla bean – just keep adding sugar to the jar). In food processor pulse flour, (aluminum-free) baking powder, butter, sugar. Blend in rhubarb/juices/cream to make soft dough. Cut into scone shapes and bake.
