All backbends are beneficial for the shoulders, neck and organs, improving blood circulation and respiratory function. Backbending postures bring physical and mental sharpness and alertness. In this 2 hour workshop, we will begin with simple back arches to open the body & understand how to safely approach the deeper extensions. Using props, each student will work at his/her individual capacity. We will finish with a series of twists to re-align the spine. Some yoga experience recommended. $45
