If you have always dreamed of helping women during the journey of pregnancy and birth, this is your opportunity to become a certified birth doula through DONA™ International, the leading organization for evidence-based doula training, certification, and continuing education. This 8-week workshop taught by Atoosa Benji, childbirth and lactation expert and advocate is designed to teach you your unique role as a labor doula and birth partner. Class is held in an intimate setting at The Pump Station & Nurtury to allow for discussion and in-depth learning of the unique and intimate role trained doulas hold. Upon completion of the workshop, students must complete readings and assignments and attend observed births to complete certification. Atoosa is dedicated to mentoring and supporting new doulas as they gain confidence in the field.
