2 Days to Go, 2700 Lives to Serve ­ And Still Need Your Help!

Dear Friends of The Giving Spirit (TGS),
In 24 short hours hundreds of our volunteers will be taking to the streets of Greater LA to seek out 2700 homeless souls in desperate need of sustenance, hydration, warmth, hygiene and protection from the rain. However, we find ourselves $56,642 short of our financial goals to meet those needs.
TGS was founded on two principles: To bring acute and life-sustaining aid directly to the unsheltered and secondly, to educate and inform our volunteers about the realities of living on the street. Thanks to you and others like you, we’ve had a great 16 years cultivating success across both of those areas. Please dig deep to make this, our 17th year, our most impactful.

The Infamous Pelvic Floor with Michelle Mazur
Sunday, December 11th from 12-3pm
The pelvic floor is often overlooked, but when it’s not working well it causes all sorts of problems. Incontinence, menstrual dysfunction, and prostate issues can be linked to an unhappy pelvic floor. In this workshop, Michelle Mazur will guide students through the basic anatomy and function of the pelvic floor. Students will learn how to engage and relax the muscles “down there” through asana practice and focused breath work. $50-$55.
