Camp Wildcraft Opens New Site in Agoura at Peter Strauss Ranch after the Fire

On June 5th, the Calabasas fire tore through Mountains Restoration Trust, where our camp was to be held this summer, destroying much of their property. Thanks to the remarkable and swift support of the community, the National Park Service made it possible for the camp to be based at Peter Strauss Ranch.

Your Jr. Chef can make Garlic Mojo
This Rick Bayless recipe seasons chicken, steaks, fish, vegetables, salads, popcorn…wherever you’d like a mild, sweet garlic element. Slightly mash peeled garlic cloves, bake with olive oil and salt for 45-55 min in an 8×8″ pan, then add fresh lime juice, and bake 20 min more. Mash to a coarse puree, and refrigerate. Good up to 3 mo refrigerated (covered in oil). So easy, such punchy flavor, so many possibilities. Parental supervision.
