Skip the Gas Station: Get $10 Free Gas from Purple!
Purple Fuel App is on-demand gas delivery. Purple fuels your car wherever you are. You can have gas delivered to your home or office. There’s no delivery fee and gas prices are the same as your local station. You don’t even need to be there. It’s easy and reliable. Purple is founded by two LA dads who understand time wasted at the gas station is time away from being with your family.
Use the app to choose the type of fuel, the amount you want, and the timeframe you need it in. You can fuel up the night before and it’s one less thing you have to think about the next day.
Use code JENS10 for $10 off your first Purple gas delivery.

The Disease of Being Busy

Every 15 Minutes
A local high school presented the Every 15 Minutes program to the student population. Freshman and sophomores attended an assembly that focused on texting and driving. The juniors and seniors attended a live crash simulation, followed by a memorial service the next day. While the events were all simulated, the emotions were real, and they are hopeful that students gained an appreciation for making safe decisions when drinking, texting and driving. Please know that the images are graphic and disturbing in some cases.

Mostly it doesn’t matter since these terms mean close to nothing. Discussed: “living conditions,” conventional, cage-free, free-range, pasture-raised, certified organic; “color,” yolks, shells; “dates and numbers,” expiration date, Julian date, size (ever heard of “peewee eggs”?).
