Letter Tycoon – A GREAT family board game for ages 8+
In the game, players take turns forming a word using a seven-card hand and a three-card community card pool, scoring money and stock rewards based on their word. Players may use their earned money to buy one letter “patent” in the word they make. In the future, whenever another player uses one of your owned letters on their turn, you earn money from the bank. Letters that are used less frequently have special abilities, increasing their power. When enough of the alphabet has been claimed, players finish the current turn, then score all money, stock and letter patents owned. Create the most valuable empire and you can become the letter tycoon!

Fly Fishing Classes in Reseda: A Perfect Family Event
From March 12th-April 9th
SPFF’s Introduction to Fly Fishing Classes start on March 12th at the One Generation Center in Reseda. The four classes cover all aspects of the sport from casting to knot tying. It is a perfect family activity and includes an outing to the LA River and Bishop, CA. SPFF provides rods and reels and the course is taught by certified instructors. Lessons are held in the classroom and on the lake. Fee is $40 for adults, under 18 is free.

The Help Group & Music for Autism present Brad Ellis, former musical director on “Glee” and performer Edyie Alyson. Mini Turkey Meatloaf Muffins. Ingredients include ground white meat turkey, onion, bread crumbs, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, egg, s&p, (opt) hot sauce. Recipe makes 3 meatloaves. Multiply recipe to bake 6, 9 or 12 meatloaves.
Spaghetti Pie Muffins. Ingredients include browned meat (any), tomato sauce, spices, cooked spaghetti (any), butter, grated Parmesan, eggs, cottage cheese or ricotta, grated mozzarella. Make in 2 large 6-well muffin tins or a casserole dish. Recipe can be doubled. Muffins can be frozen before or after cooking.
Chicken Parmesan Meatloaf Muffins. Ingredients include ground chicken (dark meat: moist and flavorful; white meat: drier and blander), panko, Parmesan, olive oil, egg, ground chicken, spices, diced mozzarella (for molten cheese core). Use hands to mix chicken mixture, and fill a 12-well muffin tin. Press in and enclose diced mozzarella. Sprinkle panko-Parmesan over the tops. Bake. Broil to brown panko. Serve with tomato or marinara sauce.
Mini Tamale Pies. Ingredients include masa harina, chicken broth and oil for the crust; ground beef, oil, onion, garlic, vinegar, paprika, spices, canned crushed tomatoes, s&p for the filling; shredded sharp cheddar to melt on top, and sour cream and chopped cilantro to garnish. These tamale pies taste even better the next day.
