Newborns In Need is running their annual Sleepers In September event. Winter months can cause hardships for babies who do not have warm sleepers. Babies are at risk for SIDS when loose blankets are placed in the crib for warmth. The San Fernando Valley Chapter is gathering new sleepers in sizes newborn to 18 months, to distribute free of charge to families in need at shelters, hospitals, and DCFS.
