Studying early brain development in infants at high/low risk for autism spectrum disorders As part of the UCLA Autism Center of Excellence, this study involves non-invasive MRI, EEG, eye-tracking, and behavioral assessments in order to identify signs of autism in the 1st year of life They are actively recruiting families with an infant less than 6 weeks of age. Low-risk infants have no family history of autism. High-risk infants have one or more siblings with an autism spectrum diagnosis. Participation in this study involves visits at 1.5, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 36 months of age. Families will receive valuable feedback on their infant’s developmental progress, pictures of their baby’s brain, as well as $30-50 compensation for each visit.
