Creative kids have fun, learn and earn

Cool program for creative, articulate kids (ages 8-11) who are comfortable expressing themselves in a group of peers and also to adult facilitators-and most importantly-who would really enjoy checking out early stage TV shows and sharing their ideas and opinions (typical monthly: $200). This does not lead to auditions/acting roles. Click http://touchstoneresearch.3uu.us/uc/FunPaidProject/.
Note: Families and kids have fun and earn money at Panelpolls.com – http://touchstoneresearch.3uu.us/registration.php?SES=MjI4.

Please help my friend Morgan WIN the Jefferson Award

She is one of three finalists in the health and wellness category. It is not a scholarship opportunity she is looking for but rather help fighting for the cause by spreading awareness through this medium. After the tragic death of her grandmother to aggressive lymphoma, Morgan was inspired to create her organization, which has raised more than $40,000 for the City of Hope National Medical Center, and connected hundreds of potential stem and bone marrow donors for Be the Match National Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Registry. PLEASE go to www.lead360.jeffersonawards.org/challenge and vote for Morgan’s project-it is the very first one -Ambassadors for Hope. The site is live until the 21st and you can vote once a day.

Your Jr. Chef can make treat biscuits for the Pooch?

Add peanut butter, water, oil and flours to electric mixer to create a smooth dough. Roll out and cut biscuits (floured cookie cutter or just cut rectangles for a small, medium or large doggie mouth), place on baking sheets with parchment paper, and bake at 350˚ for 12-18 min. Comments say since wheat, corn and soy flours aren’t the best for canine digestion, sub oat flour from old fashioned oats, brown rice flour, Cup4Cup flour, chick pea flour, barley flour, rye flour. Your doggie will thank you. Parental supervision. (Any pint-sized entrepreneurs out there??)
