Your Jr. Chef can make Lemon Bars If you’re a lemon lover, you already know this lemony flavor explosion. After using your mixer to make dough (1/2 ww okay or your usual GF subs), press it into a greased quarter ‘sheet pan’ (9″x13″ish), bake. Whisk egg, sugar (or any equivalent sweetener), lemon juice/zest and flour (1/2 ww okay or your usual GF subs), and pour over cooled crust. Bake and cool. Cut into rectangles or triangles. Comments say line the baking sheet with foil for easy removal, reduce the flour in the lemon mixture (see comments for how much), add almond meal/chopped walnuts/crushed gingersnaps to the crust in place of up to 1/4 of the flour, swap limes for lemons, reduce sweetener for a more tart take.
