Getty Gears Up For Extended Friday Hours During the Summer


From May 24thAugust 30th, the Getty Center will stay upon until 9pm on Fridays as well as Saturdays, giving visitors another long summer evening to enjoy the art, garden and views. On May 24th at 6pm, the Getty kicks off its extended Friday hours with a new program called Friday Flights, featuring cult-film screenings, Djs, dance lesson and tapas. May 24th’s inaugural Friday Flights features DJ Greg Hignight and hip hop artist Jason Chong.Visitors can sip Japanese-inspired cocktails and enjoy a screening of the original cult classic Godzilla.
