Your Jr. Chef can make White Bean and Ham Soup So easy. Practice in dicing veges (add a parsnip?), and teaches how to reconstitute dry beans (an overnight or minimum 8-hour process of nature) and get lots of flavor from a ham bone (Honey baked sells just bones for soup – ask them to saw a bone in half, and go in before 3p since the meat saws shut down then). Any dry white beans work in this recipe. Do not use flavorless ham or the soup will be flat. About the texture after cooking, either leave it the way it is or after using a potato masher (or immersion blender) on half, combine the halves for your finished soup. Consider including garlic, a couple of bay leaves, mixing in a teaspoon each of lemon juice (acid)/mustard before serving to brighten the flavor.
