Save for College instead of Getting Gifts

Not really into commercial gifts and don’t like putting your friends through the hassle of buying/bringing gifts to birthday and during holidays? GiftedPath gives parents a tasteful way to say “No gifts, please” while offering guests (who will still feel obliged to do something for you) a way to make contributions that you can put towards your child’s future. All you have to do is create a free page and include your URL in Evites, emails and invitations.

Your child’s learning style – how important is it?  It’s critical to identify.  If your child learns naturally through seeing/visual modeling/demonstration, your giving verbal direction won’t be effective. If your child learns naturally through listening, showing him what to do won’t get results. Knowing your child’s learning style will also make school years FAR easier and learning more enjoyable. Do each of your children have different learning styles? If so, your parenting communication to each will be different (and there will be less head-butting… promise!).
