The Halloween Helpers Conceived in 2008 by then 11-year-old, Emma Rose Shapiro. Emma realized that there are many children who are not fortunate enough to get a new costume every year, if at all. She set a goal to enlist children who outgrow or become disinterested in previous years’ costumes and share them with kids who are less fortunate. Life After Loss – a Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group LAL is a peer to peer support group for grieving adults who have suffered the loss of a baby through miscarriage, termination, stillbirth or infant death. It is facilitated by Abby Lagunoff, who lost her first child to stillbirth in 2009.
