The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 9th Annual Jake’s Ladder The 5K family run/walk will be held at Woodley Park in Van Nuys on Sun., Sept. 9th. To date, the event has raised over $1,500,000 with all proceeds benefiting the CF foundation. CF is a LIFE-THREATENING disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and digestive system of more than 30,000 Americans. The average LIFE EXPECTANCY IS 37.8 years. Thanks to medications and treatments that are funded through the CF foundation those living with CF have shown improved lung functioning. These measures will only extend their life – there is still NO CURE! 6 month old Poodle/Chi mix ADORABLE puppy needs a home! He was rescued from the “free” section on Craigslist and was given to anybody off the street.
