Upcoming workshop (Race Car) is Saturday, March 5th from 9 – 12noon. The monthly (1st Saturday) Home Depot’s free Kids Workshops, designed for ages 5 – 12, offer useful projects including the creation of toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, as well as more educational projects, such as a window birdhouse or bughouse. They teach children DIY skills and tool safety, provide 1-on-1 opportunity between adults and kids (kids must be accompanied/guided by an adult), and help to instill a sense of accomplishment.  Hands-on activities are especially important for active/mechanical kids. Younger kids MAY be allowed with close adult supervision.  Have a good breakfast before coming, and bring a snack/drink/your enthusiasm for making things.

Kitten looking for a good home
