“The Trial of Hamlet”
Held by The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA) to determine the competency of Hamlet to stand trial for the murder of Polonius, based on Shakespeare’s play. United States Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy adjudicates this mock trial, whose jurors include Helen Hunt and Tom Irwin and other members of the community. The trial takes place Monday, January 31st at Bovard Auditorium at the University of Southern California.  Arguments and verdict will be delivered live before the audience, and this event is recommended for ages 15 and up.
