Nationally Recognized Swim Coaches Set Up Shop in Calabasas
Malibu Canyon Aquatics, a new swim team and swim academy in Calabasas is set to open their doors to the public this September. Led by Head Coach Andy Copley, nominated in 2016 for the National Age Group Coach of the Year by the American Swim Coaches Association, the club will offer year-round swimming from ages 3-18. They will be holding an Open House and tryout from September 5th-9th at Calabasas High School where the club will train.

A Court Appointed Special Advocate (or CASA) volunteer makes a difference for children in foster care. CASA volunteers are paired to work one-on-one with a child and ensure they have the services and support needed in the areas important to all children: stable placement, education, and healthcare. There are 30,000 kids in the child welfare system in LA and many need the support of a CASA volunteer. The first step toward becoming a CASA volunteer is attending a one-hour information session!
