Child Care Resource Center invites you to attend its 20th Annual Annabelle Godwin Play Day on Saturday, May 14th, 2016 from 10 am to 1 pm at Woodley Park in Van Nuys. Discover new ways to create interactive, hands on learning activities at our Annabelle Godwin Play Day with over 50 interactive booths! This free fun day is for all ages! There will be something for everyone. We will have an infant area for the little ones, and tons of activities for the older kids including: obstacle course, hair painting, face painting, reptiles exhibit, live entertainment, raffle prizes and performance by the Aztec Dancers. We anticipate 4,000 attendees will join us, making Annabelle Godwin Play day the biggest play day in the Los Angeles area. A primer on the Best Flank Steak Ever
After marinating a 1- to 2-lb flank steak with traditional steakhouse-y flavor (Worcestershire sauce, mustard, oil, s&p) for 20 min, cook over high direct heat in a heavy-bottomed pan (cast iron works great here) 3 – 5 min/side (choice of doneness) turning only once. Let rest 10 min (mandatory) then slice ACROSS the grain into (no more than) ½” strips. S&p and serve.
