Weekly support group run by Cathy A. Dore, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (MFC 50155), addresses the symptoms of postpartum mood issues, decreases the anxiety of new motherhood and demystifies the adjustment entering the greatest transition of a woman’s life. Topics include: attachment & bonding, role of the mother and father, family management and co-parenting, in-laws, feeding, sleeping and care, developmental milestones, returning to work or staying home. 1 in 8 women suffer from postpartum depression; 80% of them go undiagnosed.
