JULY Annual Sales
MAJOR SALES EVENT: After the Fourth of July you may find major savings. July is one of the best times to look for clearance sales of warm weather clothing including bathing suits and beach items. Watch for special sidewalk and other sales. In July you will still find a good selection. Look for store brand clothing “below cost” at the end of the month and into August. The reason there are major sales at this time is that stores are getting ready for the “Back to School” season which one of their biggest. In July you might even find some early specials on back-to-school clothes.
MAJOR PURCHASES TYPICALLY ON SALE: Air conditioners, appliances, audiovisual equipment, furniture, bicycles, mattresses, refrigerators, tires, washers & dryers.
FRUITS AND VEGETABLES: apples, apricots, blackberries, blueberries, cabbage, cantaloupe, celery, chard, cherries, corn, cucumbers, eggplant, green or wax beans, green onions, green peppers, lemons, lima beans, limes, lettuce, nectarines, okra, peaches, peas, plums, squash, tomatoes, watercress, watermelon. NOTE: With some produce now available all during the year, many people have forgotten when fruits and vegetables are really fresh. Buying in season means that these items are often cheaper, fresher, taste better and that money may be going to local farmers.

House of Closets
Referred by Jens List member season@skurofamily.com
“I just had my closets organized by House of Closets and wanted to share how wonderful they are! The owner Gill, has been in the San Fernando Valley for 22 years now and they hand draw the plans for your closet, and your closet is transformed in one or two days! This was amazing for my daughters room and our coat closet because the space was not utilized at all. Now I have tons of storage and everything is super organized! The average bedroom closet is about $600-700, and much less than the larger closet companies out there. If anyone would like to contact them, their info is 818-350-0080 / houseofclosets@yahoo.com and ask for Gill, the owner.

The Crib Doctor
Referred by Jens List member heatherkristina@gmail.com
“I just wanted to help people out there that were worried about their drop down cribs even if theirs were not recalled. I was still concerned that the one I had from my five year old was put together properly by my husband and that the used one that I bought had all the parts it was supposed to and was put together properly. The crib that I bought used to supplement the crib I already had (I have twins now), was difficult to find information on because the company went out of business. I found this great guy at the Juvenile Shop who calls himself the Crib Doctor and he will come over and inspect your crib and put it together properly. It turned out that my husband put the drop down side on backward. Roger is great and gave me great peace of
