Celebrate the best of beach life with two days of awesome fun for all ages! Kids can enjoy Youth Activity Clinics ($25) on Saturday am including play time on the Ninja Nation obstacle course, soccer with LA Galaxy coaches, as well as volleyball, skate, hula, and running. On Sunday, come dance along with the Beat Buds at 9am on the stage (free). All weekend enjoy watching or participating in ocean sports, live music, & interactive games, plus there will be a Kids Zone.
 
 
The Sasha Project LA
11 yr.-old Sasha faces significant motor challenges due to her Cerebral Palsy, but she has never let that prevent her from pursuing her passion— customizing hand-painted Levi’s jeans/jean jackets and donating those proceeds to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she is treated for her condition. This 501c3 non-profit charitable organization is dedicated to raising awareness and funds for The Mark Taper-Johnny Mercer Artists Program at CHLA, a program is designed to allow patients/their families the chance to express themselves through dance, drama, arts and music. “Real Moms,” a web series streamed via the Children’s Miracle Network YouTube channel, features 10 moms who bond through raising children with life-altering medical conditions.

Clementine: A Show About Losing And Finding Yourself In Motherhood

Clementine celebrates the exhilaration of motherhood, balancing poetic passages with humorous detours into the modern realities of raising small children. April Wish moves forward and backward through time, exploring the pressures and the promises of parenthood. In this dynamic and often hilarious piece, April Wish has crafted a love letter to her daughter, Clementine, as well as to the little girl she used to be herself.
 
 
Teen Photography One-Day Workshops
A fun, creative, and informative activity to share with a teen! Adult attends with teen for free! Workshop-style class with hands-on photo activities to learn photo concepts.
July 13th – Beginning Photo is all about the camera & settings that show motion and focus in creative ways.
July 20th – Intermediate Photo is all about visual composition and making photos with a point of view beyond snapshots.
 
 
Shrinking Your Anxiety Workshop
July 14th from 4-5:15pm
In this workshop, open to Boys and Girls ages 7-14, explore the idea that worry and confidence or comfort can exist at the same time. They will experiment with physical exercises, writing and drawing as a means of reducing managing worry. Students will draw their biggest worries, pop them into our magic oven and watch them shrink. The resulting charm can be strung on a necklace or kept as a talisman.
