9th Annual Free Resource Fair for LA’s Special Needs Community
Sunday, April 7th from 11am-2pm in Sherman Oaks
This is an opportunity for parents and professionals to connect with a variety of vendors and discover the wonderful resources that L.A has to offer – from educational supports and camps to vocational and residential programs, and much more. The afternoon will also offer some fun children’s activities. Not to be missed!

Wilson Phillips in Concert with the Talented Students of LVUSD to Benefit the LVUSD Performing Arts
This amazing concert will feature the iconic American vocal group, Wilson Phillips, live in concert performing some of their biggest, chart-topping hits like “Hold On”, “Release Me”, and “You’re In Love”. Building on the idea of realizing your dreams, the Wilson Phillips opening acts will include Calabasas High School’s very own a cappella sensation, Unstrumental, fresh from their performance at New York City’s Carnegie Hall, the CHS a cappella group Bare Rhythm, the CHS String Ensemble, the award-winning CHS Dance Team, as well as a highly talented selection of the District’s elementary, middle, and high school students.
Infant/Child CPR & Family Safety Classes Added
Save A Little Life & Westside Nannies have expanded CPR & Family Safety classes at their BH location. Spring has arrived so it is time to take the course that LA knows best! Courses for expectant, newly delivered and families with toddlers need to be ready. Course dates & locations are now posted on the websites! Learn or refresh CPR, airway obstruction removal skills and find out how to create the safest home possible. They have Spanish courses too!
Hands On History Free Children’s Workshop
Saturday, April 13th at 11am
Join us for an activity that will surely be fun and informative as we craft a fun present for Mom. This Month’s theme will complement our permanent galleries focusing on Arcadia Bandini. Children and their parents are invited to this free series held monthly on a Saturday morning from 11:00 AM to Noon. Each session will include a short, age-appropriate history lesson in the galleries followed by a related craft or activity. Each workshop is designed to be engaging.
