Over a year ago, I Microbladed my eyebrows for the 1st time. It was the BEST decision ever(getting out of the shower with full brows…imagine that! Bye bye pencil!)! I absolutely loved the results and went again today to have them redone. It is a semi-permanent tattoo technique that fills brows out or reshapes them by drawing on tiny lines that look like individual hairs. It is done with a hand-held tool that puts pigment into the skin, but doesn’t go as deep as a normal tattoo would. Before it begins, a topical numbing cream is applied. No down time. $300. Dogs! A Science Tail

See, hear, smell, and act like a dog! Through engaging and fun hands-on exhibits, explore the science behind the bond between humans and dogs. Find out how humans and dogs are both wired for social connection, which made it possible for dogs to nuzzle their way into human society and into our hearts. And don’t miss the live demonstrations of work and rescue dogs in action! The exhibition is created and developed by the California Science Center with support from Annenberg Foundation and Wallis Annenberg PetSpace. PetSmart Charities is sponsoring the national tour.

Get Paid To See Inside Your Brain
Looking for healthy volunteers to participate in a brain and emotions study. Participants will complete tests and questionnaires, they will take pictures of your brain and body through non-invasive MRI scans (no injections or radiation), and a collect blood sample. Participants are asked to come for 2 visits (1 at CHLA and 1 at USC Keck), for up to a total of 8 hours. Parents will also complete some questionnaires. Children ages 8-18 may be eligible.
