Geek Girls Society – Accepting New Members
Geek Girls Society newest chapter is accepting members. Open to girls ages 8-18, Geek Girls offers a wide array of activities during bi-monthly meetings such as tabletop gaming, crafts, exploring the pop culture universe and participating in group projects focused on girl empowerment. Membership is $30 monthly. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.

USC/CHLA Brain and Emotions Study (Paid Research)
Looking for healthy volunteers to participate in a brain and emotions study. Participants will complete tests and questionnaires, they will take pictures of your brain and body through non-invasive MRI scans (no injections or radiation), and a collect blood sample. Participants are asked to come for 2 visits (1 at CHLA and 1 at USC Keck), for up to a total of 8 hours. Parents will also complete some questionnaires. Children ages 8-15 may be eligible.
