Acoustic Youth – Group Therapy that is Fun for Teens!
Acoustic Youth is a 14-week group therapy modality that combines music and mentoring, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness to empower teens. Each group member is encouraged to write and record a song about something in their life they would like to gain mastery over. Teens have the opportunity to work with a musical mentor in a professional music studio. The mission of the group is to help teens develop resiliency and coping skills through a fun, social and creative process. I HIGHLY recommend!

Stop the Bleed
A national initiative designed to provide bystanders with the tools and knowledge to stop life-threatening bleeding. Uncontrolled bleeding can result from man-made and natural disasters. Severe bleeding can kill within minutes before EMS arrives. The person closest to you may be the only one who can “stop the bleed.” Classes and training are free to the community. After the training, participants will be able to:
-Explain the rationale for early use of tourniquet for life-threatening extremity bleeding
-Demonstrate appropriate application of a tourniquet to an extremity
-Demonstrate applying direct pressure to a bleeding wound
-Demonstrate appropriate technique for wound packing

Kids Vegetable Gardening Workshop for Kids 6-16

Kids are naturals in the garden. Their curiosity and good will towards living things makes them avid learners. In this workshop, they will cover all aspects of vegetable gardening from seeds to planting, to maintenance and harvesting and food prep. By the end, kids to have a heightened appreciation of the wonders of our natural world and an understanding of how organic food can be grown. Operation Gratitude
It’s mission is to lift the spirits and meet the evolving needs of our First Responder, U.S. Military Active Duty, Veteran, and Wounded Hero communities. They also seek to provide volunteer opportunities for all Americans to express their appreciation for these deserving Heroes. Every year, Operation Gratitude sends 250,000+ individually-addressed care packages to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines deployed overseas & to their children left behind. Also, to New Recruits, Veterans, First Responders, Wounded Heroes and their caregivers. Each package contains food items, hygiene products, entertainment, handmade items, & letters of support. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer-based corporation, funded entirely by private donations.
