Geek Girls Society is starting a new chapter in Burbank. Serving girls ages 8-18, Geek Girls offers a wide array of activities during bi-monthly meetings such as tabletop gaming, crafts, exploring the pop culture universe and participating in group projects focused on girl empowerment. Membership is $30 monthly. Meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month.

Starring Jake Elwell of Dayton Ballet & Cincinnati Ballet 2 as the Nutcracker Prince, this professional yet family-friendly masterpiece features over 100 performers, including Academy students, pre-professional dancers and professional guest stars. Complete with real snow, magical elements, sword fights & sugar plum fairies, this version, under the direction of Jennifer and Robbin Shahani, is inspired by the ballet’s first American choreographer Willam Christensen.
