Rock To Recovery
Former (hed) P.E. and Korn guitarist Wes Geer founded Rock to Recovery on 12-12-2012 in an effort to bring a new and unique type of music expression group into treatment centers – by forming a band! Together the band writes and performs a song, finally recording it at the end of each session. The program is designed so that ‘non-musicians’ can access the magic, healing, uplifting powers of writing and playing music. Rock to Recovery gives people the outlet to challenge themselves and channel the music that’s deep in their soul, many for the first time.

USC/CHLA Brain and Emotions Study (Paid Research)
Looking for healthy volunteers to participate in a brain and emotions study. Participants will complete tests and questionnaires, take pictures of your brain and body through non-invasive MRI scans (no injections or radiation), and a collect blood sample. Participants are asked to come for 2 visits (1 at CHLA and 1 at USC Keck), for up to a total of 8 hours. Parents will also complete some questionnaires. Children ages 8-18 may be eligible.
