Friends of Jaclyn Helping Children with Cancer During Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and Daily
Friends of Jaclyn (FOJ) aims to improve the quality of life for children with pediatric brain tumors and other childhood cancers while spreading awareness about these diseases. FOJ does this by pairing a child with a local sports team, club or community group. The group provides a unique support system for the entire family as they battle “the beast.” September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and Friends of Jaclyn wants to give children across the country love, support and friendship!

Westlake High School Instrumental music program is putting on a fundraiser on Sunday, October 8th in Thousand Oaks and looking for vendors to be a part of it. They will have 10-12 food trucks, live jazz music, a kids carnival, silent auction, and new this year – a vendor fair! This is an annual event and usually draws 1500-2000 people.
