Discover Recycling Event
Saturday, June 24th from 9am-2:30pm at the  West Los Angeles District Yard
The L.A. Sanitation Department invites families to come learn about recycling. Parents can gather information about recycling and other Sanitation Department services, while children can have a fun, educational time finding out about the benefits of recycling. If you are a resident of Los Angeles, you will be eligible to adopt a free tree (available on a first come, first served basis). Residency verification required (driver’s license, ID or DWP bill) and limit one per address.

Children, families and adults are invited to the 3rd Annual Angel City Games featuring clinics and competitive events for beginning and experienced adaptive athletes. Families are invited to join this Experience Zone on Saturday and Sunday that will give guests the experience of being an adaptive athlete – playing wheelchair basketball, blind golf, one-armed table tennis, wheelchair curling, and obstacles courses with one arm!
