Camp Helping Hands – Where Kids Make a Difference

Camp Helping Hands (CHH) began as a summer camp project and has become Southern California’s premier service-learning summer camp for young children. The goal behind every CHH program is to get young children involved in their community by way of service-learning. Through service projects and field trips, Camp Helping Hands leaves participants with a positive and lasting impression by having them work together to help make a difference in their community where it is needed most.

Big Fish, the musical, is based on the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton. The story centers on the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman. He lives life to the fullest and confounds his son, Will, who is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Edward, in the family friendly musical, encounters a Witch, a Giant, a Mermaid, a General, a Circus Ringmaster, and the love of his life, Sandra. They all help to reveal a secret that allows Will to discover the father he never knew.
