“Meet-n-Greet” for Canyon Creek Summer Camp

Canyon Creek is a co-ed sleepaway camp for ages 7-16 all my boys have been attending each summer! Located just an hour north of LA near beautiful Castaic Lake, the 81-acre camp is the ideal setting for our kids to spend their summers running around in the fresh mountain air! Come meet the CCSC Directors as well as other camp staff. They will take you on a “virtual tour” through all of the great sports and activities CCSC has to offer. I Need Your Books!

        

Say GOODBYE to the books on your shelves that you haven’t picked up in ages and say HELLO to the Round Meadow Book Drive. You KNOW you have books that need a new home! Round Meadow will be collecting children’s books in good condition from now until March 9th. The goal is to bring over 2,000 books to school in Los Angeles where students don’t have any. Bizzy Girls Tween Entrepreneur Camp

        

Girls 6-12 can develop their own product line, learn biz skills, create logos, ads, learn cost/profit and sell their products at a pop up store. Some of the camps have a young entrepreneur speaker series. They teach printing, weaving/knitting and other techniques to assist girls in product development. The curriculum fosters creativity, teaches life skills and builds self confidence through role playing. Camps throughout southern California.

        

        

 

        

 

        

Camp Wildcraft Art and Nature Camp Open House

Camp Wildcraft grows creative, curious, confident & caring kids who feel at home in nature. Join the annual Open House at King Gillette Ranch in Calabasas– a 588 acre national park where Wildcrafters build friendships and build forts, find animal tracks, and follow their interests, identify plants, and sculpt with clay harvested from the local hills. Children are taught how to be FLUID with their bodies, LOVING with their hearts, OBSERVANT with their minds, and WHOLE with their spirits. FLOW is a unique program for children which combines meditation, yoga, music & movement, art & expression, and “connectivity”. Students learn about the world around them, and how they fit into it. Engaged is a non-profit that collaborates with service providers and families that may need support dealing with addiction, mental health issues and other struggles. The State of California enacted a new law effective January 1st, regarding concussions in youth sports. It is an amendment of a previous law that covered high school athletes that now covers all athletes under the age of 18, including youth baseball. Its’ purpose is to provide specific safety protocols in order to protect athletes from injury.
