WE ARE THE FUTURE is a special evening of performances by 150 middle and high school students showcasing the incredible opportunities for education in the performing arts offered by Las Virgenes Unified School District. This is a benefit concert to support these educational programs and the state-of-the-art Centers for Performing Arts and Education in Calabasas and Agoura Hills. The performances will dazzle the whole family! Tickets $15-$40, all proceeds benefit performing arts at LVUSD.

“Remote L.A.”- A Pedestrian-Based Live Art Experience


March 12th-April 2nd


Participants will join a group of 50 people exploring LA on a guided audio tour that seems to follow them as much as they are following it, directed and produced by award-winning international documentary theatre team Rimini Protokoll. Participants are provided with a soundtrack to the streets, sights and rooftops of LA. A computer-generated voice sets them out on a trail through the city, guiding the group’s movements in real time. The performance reveals a “secret Los Angeles”. Participants are not just audience members, they are actors and spectators, observers and observed, individuals and a pack, all at the same time.

One of the original instructors from Goorus Yoga’s “Jiva” days, Doug Binzak will return to the Goorus space to teach weekly yin yoga classes. Yin is a more gentle form of yoga that targets non-muscular, connective tissue in all of the places where the body bends (neck, shoulders, spine, hips, pelvis); poses are held for longer periods than in a “flow” class.
