Zero Seconds is an easy way for everyone to remember to never leave a child alone in or around cars!
Each year thousands of children are left unattended in and around cars and most people underestimate the potential consequences. Harrison’s Hope is a national, nonprofit organization committed to educating children and caregivers about the dangers of children being left alone in and around cars. The Zero Seconds Program is a grassroots safety awareness program designed to educate elementary, middle and high school students, community outreach organizations, parents, caregivers and any audience about the dangerous situation of children being alone in and around cars. The legacy of Harrison’s Hope is to educate children and caregivers to prevent another incident from happening. The Zero Seconds Program empowers children with the courage to speak up and never let a caregiver leave them alone in or around a car. The Program will also educate caregivers that zero seconds is how long you leave a child in or around a car. By planting this safety message, we will prevent future incidents and save lives. Together we want the message of the Zero Seconds Program to be as well known as “Just Click It!” for seat belt usage. Zero Seconds equals Zero Incidents.
