A free play date for Children of All Abilities
Brandon’s Buddies is a FREE KIDS CLUB that meets every month at Brandon’s Village at Gates Canyon Park in Calabasas. This playground, which is the first fully-accessible playground in the region, was made possible thanks to the Friedman Family Charitable Foundation, the City of Calabasas, the Las Virgenes Special Education P.T.A. and Shane’s Inspiration. The day may include Integrated Play, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Entertainment, and Treats (but please feel free to bring a sack lunch). Mindful Mom class starting Sunday April 11th
A 5 week series designed for mom’s to give them time for themselves to recharge and to learn mindfulness tools that they can teach to their children. The research has shown that practicing mindfulness can have a profound effect on our bodies, minds and overall well being. Taught by Cathy Heller Reinstein, a very gifted/inspired and compassionate teacher on the subject of mindful awareness. She has been fortunate to study and train with some of the leaders and fore-runners of these wonder-filled tools.
