Skin Care Beauty Tips for Busy Moms
Easy, Fast, Fresh Mask for all kinds of skin: Mix 1teaspoon yogurt, 1 teaspoon honey (warmed up slightly) with 3-4 drops of fresh made green tea.  Apply to face and leave for 15 min.  Or, you can mix in oatmeal for a thick consistency.  Apply to face, neck and décolleté.  Leave on for 15 min and remove first with warm water, then use cold water for the final rinse.  Use 3-4 times a week for the first month, and than twice a month will be enough to keep your skin refreshed and toned. Oh, those dark circles under our eyes!  They drive us crazy.  We all know that we need to get enough sleep to begin with, but what else can help? Treat your skin while you sleep.  Just before bed, lightly wet a washcloth with cold water and place over your eyes as you sleep.  By morning, you should see an improvement.  Apply cucumber slices or cool tea bags (no herbal tea, only black tea, and freshly made) to your eyes. Cucumber slices are famous for their ability to reduce puffiness, and the tannin in tea has been found to reduce swelling and discoloration.  Leave on for 10 min.  What you eat counts!  Eat a healthy, balanced diet, drink plenty of water, and make sure you are getting all your vitamins and minerals.  For more info, visit www.FacialsByKarina.com

Film to See .. “Race to Nowhere”
Director Vicki Abeles turns the personal political, igniting a national conversation in her new documentary about the pressures faced by American schoolchildren and their teachers in our achievement obsessed public and private education system and culture. Featuring the heartbreaking stories of young people across the country who have been pushed to the brink, educators who are burned out and worried students aren’t developing the skills they need, and parents who are trying to do what’s best for their kids, Race to Nowhere points to the silent epidemic in our schools: cheating has become commonplace, students have become disengaged, stress-related illness, depression and burnout are rampant, and young people arrive at college and the workplace unprepared and uninspired. Race to Nowhere is a call to mobilize families, educators, and policy makers to challenge current assumptions on how to best prepare the youth of America to become healthy, bright, contributing and leading citizens. “I’ve tried out many different instructors and I can honestly say Donna is an amazing find. She utilizes every second of the workout to strengthen your core and target the hard to tone areas. And, the best part is, she’s beyond reasonably priced. I’ve paid anywhere from $60-$75 for Pilates elsewhere, but Donna charges only $40 an hour for 1 on 1 Reformer and Cadillac Pilates (not Mat).
