Fri, July 27th from 4:30-6:30pm Join this ceramics workshop! Have the opportunity to create miniature mixed-media sculptures inspired by the ceramic works in Juried Exhibition 2018. Immerse your hands in clay to squeeze, cut, coil and shape. All ages welcomed! LAMAG’s Juried Exhibition 2018, a large-scale group exhibition introducing a new generation of LA artists, takes place from July 26th– September 16th at famed Barnsdall Art Park (4800 Hollywood Boulevard). The pioneering Juried exhibitions have been running for six decades and this year’s show builds on its legacy, providing a platform for emerging artists in SoCal since 1953 to exhibit at one of the country’s few remaining municipal art galleries.
Successful Friday Night Lights Flag Football League coming to Glendale Sports Complex this Fall
Friday Night Lights Flag Football League starts in September for grades K-8. Coed. This is open to all towns in the area! Time is running out to register! Fee is $180, includes uniforms. One practice per week (decided by coach), one game per week on Friday nights under the lights! So FUN! Games are only 40 minutes long.
