July 9th-August 13th at Crespi High School in Encino
NFL SFV Flag Football, by Cary Harris, is an INCREDIBLE program of NFL Play 60. The league provides co-ed opportunities for children ages 5-17 to learn and enjoy one of America’s most beloved sports – football. Players will benefit by being physically active through non-contact, continuous activity while learning the fundamentals of football, lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship. My boys LOVE this league and I highly recommend!
 
 
The Help Group’s Summer Day Camps
Begins Monday, June 12th
The Help Group’s summer camps provide a safe and enriching atmosphere for children, teens and young adults with autism spectrum disorder and other special needs. The unique day camps create opportunities to engage, experience and explore. Each camp strives to developmentally and chronologically match each camper across the spectrum to ensure an appropriate peer group for learning and fun.

Seeking women freelancers (drivers for Lyft/Instacart/Uber, working for Taskrabbit, UrbanSitter, GlamSquad) or freelance entrepreneurs running their own business to interview on-camera for a documentary on women in the gig economy. Volunteer Opportunity: Advocate for abused and neglected children in foster care
June 28th from 5:30pm-7:30pm
A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) makes a difference for children in foster care. CASA volunteers are paired one-on-one with a child to ensure they have the services and support needed in the areas important to all children: stable placement, education, and healthcare. L.A. Works and CASA of Los Angeles are partnering to recruit advocates to be matched with some of the 30,000 children in foster care today!

Saturday, June 10th
This event is free for spectators and fun for the whole family. Watch as top athletes compete in stand-up paddleboard, prone paddleboard, and swim races at the iconic Santa Monica Pier. Or compete in the races yourself. The ocean festival takes over the deck of the Santa Monica Pier with live music, Polynesian dancing, a beach volleyball showcase, delicious food, a beer garden, and a one-of-a-kind surf history museum. Come celebrate decades of surf, paddleboard and lifeguard history.
