The ULTIMATE Bar/Bat Mitzvah Learning Experience
We used Stephanie, founder of Mitzvah Shirah, to prepare our son for his Bar Mitzvah, I HIGHLY recommend! Unaffiliated with a synagogue but still want your child to become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah? Stephanie offers private Jewish education and Bar Mitzvah preparation – all-inclusive instruction in Hebrew, prayers, and chanting Torah. Stephanie can create a service customized to your child’s personality & creativity. Want to take your son to chant his Torah portion in Israel? She is partnered with a wonderful rabbi in Jerusalem. Stephanie has guided countless students to their Bar/Bat Mitzvah day with confidence and enthusiasm. She is also an excellent tutor to enhance your child’s synagogue learning experience!

Hipcooks
Awesome hands-on cooking classes in Woodland Hills with no measuring, lots of tasting & your inner chef can play. Hipcooks likes to cook without recipes and let chefs revel in the meal-making experience while picking up basic kitchen skills (like how to use a knife and how to flip ingredients in a sauté pan). Expect zingy class names like, “The Mo’ rockin’ Spice Trail” (Moroccan food), “Shortcut to Nirvana” (Indian food), and “Oy Vey!” (Jewish cooking). There’s even a “Food for your Face” class that will teach you how to use edible items to make soaps, scrubs, and masks. Most classes end with a dinner party, where foods are paired with wine, beer, or an appropriate cocktail.
