Kid-friendly Cauliflower Hummus
What a delicious afternoon snack as a rich and thick dip with carrots, celery, tortilla chips. Using a food processor, process steamed/cooled cauliflower, smashed garlic clove, jarred/canned tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pinch cayenne. Process in fresh cilantro (or parsley), salt to taste. Serve chilled or at room temp. Hummus will keep in the fridge up to 2 days. Makes about 3 C. Vegan.

Since 2010 Nancy Pyne-Hapke, author of “Play and Grow Smart, A Guide Supporting Brain Development, Birth through Five,” has been giving weekly tips from scholarly sources to personal interviews, from the internet to periodicals to books to aid your child’s optimum skill development through proactive neuroscience-based activities.
