Today’s Jen’s List sponsor helps you
ORGANIZE YOUR DIGITAL PHOTOS ONCE AND FOR ALL!
Digital photos, you stress me out. I want to enjoy my memories, but all I have is gigabytes of files scattered all over my hard drive, where I can’t find, edit, organize, or print them! It’s a mess, to be sure, which is why Carley Knobloch of Mothercraft has created Sync or Swim Digital Photos— a video training that will show you, click by click, how to use Google Picasa to organize your photos.  Can you imagine— knowing where all your photos are? Editing them to look fabulous? Weeding out the duds and having an edited, manageable collection? Making one of those bee-yoo-tiful photo books that look so impressive on other people’s coffee tables, but you haven’t a clue how to create? And, most importantly, archiving your entire collection so that you don’t lose years of memories the next time a sippy cup spills on your laptop!  Over two hours of video, broken down into bite-sized chapters you can refer to again and again.  Sync or Swim Digital only $29.  To FINALLY start getting “photorganized”, visit www.mothercraftcoaching.com/shop

Emek Hebrew Academy Teichman Family Torah Center
For the third time in a row, it has received a six year accreditation through WASC.  At the elementary and middle school, the goal is to create a comprehensive, enriching and exciting learning experience for all students.  The curriculum immerses students in an academic environment which places emphasis on community and middot (Torah values). They strive to address each student’s unique learning style through differentiated instruction. Students are challenged to reach their individual learning potential through innovative teaching techniques, small group instruction, academic discovery, accelerated classes and student support. Emek is also focused on creating active learners who think critically, while creating a smooth transition from one grade to the next. Creative expression is promoted, and students benefit from enrichment specialists in art, music, computers, P.E. and a unique library program.  Field trips, family programming, and special school-wide assemblies broaden the curriculum beyond the classroom. By embracing high standards of character, commitment, and achievement Emek is able to create a special environment for students to grow intellectually and personally.

Sand Painting
May 30th
Having you been out to the beach yet? It’s getting beautifully warm outside. Blue water and yellow sand are wonderful things. But sand doesn’t need to stay yellow. Many cultures use brightly colored sand to paint beautifully textured pictures and designs. We’ll have sand on our paper, just like the beach outside! All Sunday drop-in programs run from 2:00-4:00pm and are free for members and $3.00 per child for non-members in addition to the entrance fee.  Entrance fee is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 3 and over.  Children 2 and under and grandparents are free.  Zimmer Children’s Museum is located on the lobby level of the Goldsmith Jewish Federation Building, 6505 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90048.  Sunday hours are 12:30pm-5:00pm.  Please check http://www.zimmermuseum.org or call (323) 761-8984 for further information.

MexiDeals.com caters to travelers searching for deals
They differ because the company offers short term exclusive deals. The “one-of-a-kind” deals are not available anywhere, and are offered due to the amount of one time deals they generate for the vendors. MexiDeals was created in order to offer the traveler/shopper a unique opportunity to purchase a discount that is not offered anywhere. The traveler/shopper has to take advantage of a very limited, exclusive offer that is only valid, once a minimum number of “deals” are purchased. MexiDeals encourages it’s shoppers to invite other people by way of social media and internet outreach, to secure the “Deal”.  MexiDeals is a win win solution.
