The Los Angeles film festival is coming to its new home of downtown Los Angeles – from June 17th – 27th. There are so many different experiences the festival can offer families: from the fantastic films to special events and panels to enjoying all the vibrant culture of downtown LA. LA Parents Night Out

•Waiting for Superman: A truly compelling documentary on the failed national public school system by the director of An Inconvenient Truth.

•Ford Amphitheater: Check out one of the flicks showing at this outdoor venue, including an epic battle film, Centurian; another that takes a closer look into the world of George Lucas, The People Vs. George Lucas; The Last Exorcism, a horror flick; and critically-acclaimed Thunder Soul, about a teacher, that turns a high school music group into a hit and the students, who want to reward him later in life.
