Do you own a business with goods or services?(a note from Jen Levinson)
With your businesses fully tax deductible donation, you’ll be promoting what you have to offer and goodwill as well! On May 23rd, my oldest son’s school, Round Meadow Elementary, will be hosting its Annual Carnival & Silent Auction, one of the school’s largest fundraisers. Your business name will be shown next to your donated item as well as being listed in the monthly newsletter which is distributed to all of the Round Meadow families. All proceeds from the Auction will go directly to support the education of the students at Round Meadow Elementary School (www.roundmeadowelementary.org) and A House Called Home (www.apch.org). The auction committee believes that this is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate to our students the virtue of helping others less fortunate. With your help, we can all profit by giving the world a better future. The success of this event is crucial in order to continue paying the salaries of the Librarian, Computer Specialist, Music Specialist, Art Specialist and Physical Education Specialist. Last year, the money raised was used to help the school purchase books, computers, and other materials needed for the further education of the children. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help. Please email me jen@jenslist.com so that I can forward you the donation form to complete and send along with any brochure, certificate or other information you would like to include.  Again, I sincerely thank you for your support and generosity!!

To all of you who had responded to the “Looking for a Car” posting, here is some additional information Kasey wanted me to pass along:
“Thank you to everyone who had responded to Jen’s posting.  We are looking for a family in Los Angeles to be featured on a segment for The Early Show within the next 2-4 weeks. The story will be about how consumers can save money on cars by using helpful sites, like TrueCar.com.  The segment will feature families from across the country who are about to buy a car but have not done any research. They will compare the experience of visiting a dealership without having done any research, with the experience of visiting a dealership after doing research at truecar.com and printing a price report. The goal of the piece is to show how much money people can save by being informed. Thank you so much for all of you immediate responses.  Though, I would love to feature all of you and your families, we only need one.  I will be contacting you directly if more information is needed.”
